The charming, tiny, and quite historic crossroads of Batesville holds its annual celebration every first weekend in May. A brief and lively community parade leads you to an open field where neighbors & friends gather for fellowship, food...and live music, of course! Our guitarist and longtime Batesville resident, Doug Hedstrom, has helped to organize this event for 37 years~woot!! kat & the travelers will kick off the music with a short set followed by a jam featuring many of our friends from the Central Virginia Blues Society. This is always a fun time and a sweet community gathering... Join in!
